CitCom.ai-UV and ADEIT join forces to promote the application of AI to university management

The CitCom.ai-UV research team is delighted to announce, through this press release, our new strategic partnership with ADEIT, the University-Business Foundation of the University of Valencia, as part of the European Citcom.ai project.

This partnership stems, on the one hand, from our commitment to applying AI in real-world, urban settings, and on the other, from ADEIT’s need to optimise its organisational and administrative processes with the aim of improving interaction between the academic community and the business sector – which is undoubtedly its core purpose as an institution and an area where we believe the application of AI can have a significant impact.

By combining these two missions through the practical application of data science, we will work in close cooperation: our team will provide the technical development and creation of intelligent tools, whilst ADEIT will act as the real-world testing ground, providing the data and operational expertise needed to bring them to life.

A little more about ADEIT and its institutional work

To understand the value of this collaboration, it is worth recalling the role played by ADEIT. With over 35 years’ experience, the University-Business Foundation operates as a body affiliated with the University of Valencia and has a very clear purpose: to connect the talent in the lecture rooms with the real needs of the business community, facilitating a two-way flow in which society benefits from the institution’s capabilities, and the institution responds to the needs and concerns of the productive sector.

Through its main areas of activity, which encompass specialised training, employment, entrepreneurship and support for innovation, ADEIT acts as a key bridge for knowledge transfer and the socio-economic development of the Valencian Community.

As part of this collaboration, the technical team at CitCom.ai-UV will develop various use cases aimed at introducing smart solutions into the Foundation’s day-to-day management.

The first joint project will involve the design and implementation of a tool for automatically suggesting replies to emails. This AI-based solution will be specifically designed to streamline and optimise the handling of enquiries from students and businesses in two of the organisation’s busiest areas: the management of work placement agreements and its postgraduate programmes. This tool aims to reduce response times, ease the internal administrative burden and provide users with a more efficient, accurate and high-quality service.

Finally, on behalf of the Citcom.ai-UV project, we would like to express our sincere gratitude to ADEIT for its firm commitment to technological innovation and for the trust it has placed in us, particularly to Sergio Palomares Perelló, Head of Operations and Business Strategy, whose drive has been fundamental in bringing this collaboration to life.

We are convinced that this combined effort will not only enhance the foundation’s operational efficiency but will also serve as an excellent success story demonstrating how artificial intelligence can transform university services and their relationship with the business world, all within the framework of our participation in the European Citcom.ai project.
