Emilio Soria Olivas, 2026 Sapiens Academic Award

Yesterday, Thursday 23rd of April, Emilio Soria Olivas, lecturer at the University of Valencia, academic director of the Master’s Degree in Data Science and Artificial Intelligence, and a member of our research team, was awarded the 2026 Sapiens Academic Prize by the Official College of Computer Engineering of the Valencian Community (COIICV).

This recognition highlights an outstanding academic and scientific career in the field of artificial intelligence and data analysis, as well as his contribution to the development and transfer of knowledge in these fields. Throughout his career, Emilio has successfully combined research excellence with a clear commitment to the practical application of technology, driving innovative projects and training new generations of professionals.

Furthermore, within the context of Citcom.ai, his role is particularly significant. His strategic vision and ability to identify new opportunities have been key to guiding the project’s development, always with an innovative approach and an openness to exploring new avenues of work. His approach to research, based on constant curiosity and the search for solutions with real-world impact, has contributed decisively to the team’s growth.
