The Citcom.ai-UV research team is travelling to Stockholm for the third review of the European project

From Monday 11th to Wednesday 13th May, the research team from the University of Valencia’s IDAL (Intelligent Data Analysis Laboratory) working on the European Citcom.ai project will take part in the project’s third periodic review, organised by RISE (Research Institutes of Sweden) at KTH (Royal Institute of Technology) in Stockholm. This is a crucial moment for assessing the progress made and defining the next steps.

Over the course of these days, the project consortium will meet to pool progress, share results and reflect on the impact of the solutions developed so far. The review will include working sessions, technical presentations and collaborative workshops addressing various aspects of the project, from the evolution of the tools to their scalability and replicability in different urban contexts.

Furthermore, this type of meeting allows the project’s strategic vision to be aligned with the objectives set at European level, as well as providing an opportunity to receive feedback from reviewers and institutional representatives, and even from the general public. It is, therefore, a key opportunity to validate the work carried out and reinforce the applied focus of the solutions being developed.

An international context for continuing to develop AI-based urban solutions

Beyond technical monitoring, the visit to Stockholm will also provide an ideal setting to strengthen collaboration between partners and generate new synergies. The team will seek to make the most of this opportunity to exchange knowledge with research groups from other countries participating in the project, and to explore possible avenues for future cooperation within the project’s framework.

In short, with this visit, the team aims to consolidate its role within the project and continue to make progress in developing solutions designed to be applied and replicated in different urban contexts.

And finally, although the agenda will focus mainly on the project’s work, we hope to find some time to explore the city of Stockholm, a European leader in urban innovation and sustainability, which will undoubtedly add value to the experience.
